Nalc Contract Negotiations Update 2024. The current agreement, which was set to expire at 12 o’clock on the evening of saturday, may 20, 2023, will remain in full force until a new negotiated or arbitrated agreement takes effect. City letter carriers have been working without a contract for more than 400 days, and leaders of the letter carriers (nalc) still refuse to provide any substantive updates from bargaining.

Nalc and the postal service have agreed to continue negotiations on a new collective bargaining agreement. The city’s national association of letter carriers union (nalc) is still in negotiations, and the contract may be headed for arbitration.
